Suntzu was a Chinese general, philosopher and a wiseman with many war skills. He was grand master on war and he wrote that big art of war book. In infinity , he is no different.

SunTze - ( Yes not suntzu) has wip of 17, bs value of 12. his bs value is not great. lets see if we can live with that.

suntze is a 2 w heavy infantry with high arm and bts values. he has arm value of 4 and bts value of 6. His value is increasing with the shiny abilities he has. 

He has nowound inc. and this makes him a troop with almost 3 wounds. This is good, but an other ability makes this skill more strong. Total immunity!

Total immunity makes troops more resilient. There are many weapon ammo in the game cause units to make arm rolls with more dices. Like DA ammo, fire ammo and k1 ammo to forfeit arm value of the troop. Total immunity cancels all these situations and changes this hit with a standart ammo. 

Therefore, suntze shines like a sun above the hills now. It is very hard to kill him.

He has also strategos level 3. very important skill to protect your main troops from assasination attacks, to deploy better and having an extra order for your army. This ability matches nicely with his background.

Mimetism is an other defensive ability and cool, but the thing makes it more special is the synergy with stats and weapons. I am talking about the flash pulse. flash pulse is used with wip and the opponent has to face mimetism too. wip 17 flash pulse attack can protect suntze from long range attacks.

Suntze has advanced command to spend 5 points more and having an other command token to spend. You need to pay this bill to make him lieutenant. I believe this skill is expensive. because there will be many times you wont use your all your command tokens.

Suntze comes with 2 nanopulsers. this is useful to hit 2 times to an opponent and relying on your total immunity.

Both boarding shotgun and multirifle options are nice but not something great.

so... sun tze is an unit, that relies on his defensive abilities, maybe not a killing machine like hsien but with his huge resistance on any hits and lots of wounds that he can soak, he can kill things and survive easilly.

i like suntze but 55-60 points is also serious investment. He is a very good unit but if you are spending that much points you need to use Suntze and march forward. do not wait in your deployment zone and dont make this expensive piece a cheerleader.
